Trip to Georgia

Sometimes, the most uplanned trip can turn out to be the best ones. I never plan to go anywhere right now. All I ready wanted was just to attend my sister's wedding. No, actually, I wanna save money. (Yes, that's something new but I really do).

But then, everything was total mess when we got denied to get a Korean visa. I don't wanna go back to it, so let's move forward on how we got there-in Georgia.

I really don't know where Georgia is before. What it looks like or I did not even know that a country as such do exist! Til one day, I came browsing and did my research and it caught my attention as I found it interesting.

So let's move forward. We booked a flight and hotel, filed my very short leave and there we go!
This was the first thing that made me feel giddy. I told my husband that I wanna jump out and take some snaps. But the cold was unbearable (for me, because I am not used to this kind of temperature and my sweater was not that winter, este autumn ready)

But then, I kept on staring and I let myself be amazed by how lovely those yellow and red leaves were. (yes, my first time so bare with me)

Finally, I got a chance to get closer to it. I was able to touch the leaves and took tons of pictures, walked on the streets dancing like crazy and I really didn't care at all. At first I found it weird that people were not that friendly to tourists. They stared at us like we were aliens from outer space. I looked at how I dressed that day, and I didn't see anything so different on theirs. Oh well, maybe they were not just so used to having asians in their place.

So we began to stroll and explore the city of Tbilisi. At first we took a cab. We don't actually know where we were going but because I have researched beforehand of the picturesque places, I just showed the driver the print outs and he took us there.

Yes, this city has too much to offer. And I was over the moon!
This is the old university. Harry Potter-like school plus their uniforms too. Just so magical
Just because we don't know how to go to the tower up there, we decided to walk along. Little we don't know that there was a cable car going up. Anyway, we enjoyed the views though during the trek.
This is a city of good wines. We actually tried their wines, and I got drunk. Sorry no picture of that. I just thought it was a sweet grapefruit. I forgot the alcohol! seeesshhh
Finally the me and the autumn tree moment out there!

The me and the colorful Georgian harvest

And the me and the beautiful streets moment too! (that was so much me! ooops!)

  okay, the US!

 And so on

 And so fort

And him looking at me like (you na nmn?) but actually, the same reaction from the photobomber out there. haha

Okay, moving on....
on our second day, we decided to go to the mountains, where there is snow! Oh, that made me feel like a kid again. All the exhaustion disappeared and I didn't actually care about how cold it will be. Dun dun dun dunnnnn!!!

There we go!
The snowy mountains of Kazbegi plus the happy faces!

I actually do have a lot to tell about this trip. It's just that the lazyness got me in here that I wanna just stop here. I forgot I haven't even blogged about our Japan trip yet.

To cut this story short, It was indeed a very memorable, and exciting experience. I was stunned by everything that I saw. It was surreal and breathtaking literally and figuratively.

Happy Reading!
